Our Eyes Only
Delete Your Account & Data
You can delete your Our Eyes Only account and all of your associated data at any time. Choose either option below.
Option 1 — Delete in the app
- Open the Our Eyes Only app and sign in.
- Tap your avatar to open Profile, then scroll to the bottom.
- Select Delete account, enter your passcode, and confirm.
Your account is retired immediately: no password, and no Apple or Google sign-in, will open it again. If you are on an older version that doesn't show this option yet, use Option 2 below.
Option 2 — Request by email
Email us from the email address on your account so we can verify it's you:
Use the subject line "Delete my account" and include the username on your account. We will confirm and process your request.
Delete individual photos, albums, or other content
You don't have to delete your whole account to remove specific content. In the app you can delete individual photos, videos, albums, and folders at any time:
- Open the photo, video, album, or folder you want to remove.
- Select Delete.
- Deleted items move to Trash and are permanently removed after up to 30 days. You can empty the Trash to remove them sooner.
To request removal of specific data without deleting your account, you can also email oureyesonlyoeo@gmail.com.
What gets deleted
When your account is deleted, we delete the personal information and content associated with your account, including:
- Your account profile (name, email address, username, date of birth, city/region, and settings)
- All vault content you uploaded or created — photos, videos, albums, folders, hidden folders, and shared folders
- Your access-code and hidden-album settings, and related security logs
What may be retained
Some information may be kept for a limited time, after which it is permanently removed:
- Items in Trash are retained for up to 30 days before permanent deletion.
- Residual copies may remain in encrypted backups for a limited period before being removed through normal backup deletion cycles.
- Limited records may be retained where required for legal, security, or fraud-prevention purposes.
How long it takes
Deletion requests are processed promptly, and account deletion is typically completed within 30 days of your request.
